Mountains and beaches in Granada. A journey inspired by Hemingsworth.
Our AW ICONS ORIGIN Collection is designed and crafted for sportsmen, globetrotters and adventurers. Every piece is crafted from the finest materials so you can travel in comfort and style wherever your adventures take you.
Inspired by the possibilities of the AW ICONS ORIGINS Collection, we have chosen four adventures around the world. In warmer months, the Mediterranean coast attracts sunseekers from across Europe. But in the charm of the region during the winter months is seriously underrated.
In the culturally-rich region of Andalucia, Europe’s most southerly ski resorts are barely an hour from the shores of the Med. The Costa Tropical, as the coast around Granada is known, benefits from a microclimate created by its proximity to the Sierra Nevada. More lush and green than other parts of the Mediterranean coast with less extreme climate, it remains mild in the winter, even when there is snow in the Sierra above.
Any experienced globetrotter will know the benefits of being able to adapt to different climes. And between the Sierra Nevada and the Costa Tropical this knowledge is more vital than usual. In the morning, you can be by the coast with a Pablo sweatshirt keeping you comfortable against the sea breeze, and by lunchtime you can be in the foothills, layering-up with the Hemingway jacket to stave off the frosty air.
